The app features 3 segments, the ‘Prayer Time’ segment, the ‘Qibla’, and ‘Daily Inspiration’. To begin using the app, one has to set their location and prayer time conventions under settings so as to get accurate prayer timings and qibla direction. Under ‘Prayer Time’, one can set up notifications for each prayer time by indicating whether they would like to have a regular sound notification or an athan played out.

You need to be online to get real time data on prayer times and there is no compass built into the app, so you need a separate compass app or a real life compass to know the direction of Mecca.
