Binaural beats to keep you focused, relaxed or ready for sleep

Play audio review
Good for:

People who want to stay focused for work or study but are distracted by music

How it works:

There are 3 types of beats to choose from: For relaxing, for studying and for sleep.

I needed to get some work done and I was feeling quite distracted. I plugged in my earbuds and chose the beats for studying (do follow the app’s instructions to use it with earbuds or headphones, otherwise you won’t be able to hear anything).

The good:

I was able to concentrate on my work and finish it fairly quickly. Usually I listen to music to help me stay focused, but the problem is music itself can be a distraction for me because of the lyrics or just the beauty of the tune! So this worked wonderfully. I’m looking forward to trying out the beats for relaxing and for sleeping.

The bad:

I found the volume too high but I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the volume (pressing the usual 1 to decrease volume and 3 to increase volume didn’t work). I ended up placing the earbud very loosely in my ear so the sound was softer. Making the volume level adjustable and having instructions on how to do so would be good.

When my phone screen went to sleep, the sound of the beats stopped too. This was annoying because I had to keep touching my phone screen to keep it active or unlocking my phone screen whenever it went to sleep.
