Learn about what tenses you can use for verbs

Good for:

Getting the hang of tenses for verbs offline

How it works:

Kobi knows verbs are ‘action words’, but sometimes gets confused about what their tenses are. This app gives useful examples on how we can use an English verb with the right tenses. Type the verb into the search field and get results immediately! Scrolling right brings you to different types of tenses for the verb. For example, with the verb ‘learn’, you see results like ‘I learn’, ‘she learns’, ‘I learned’, ‘I am learning’, ‘I have learned’, ‘I would learn’ — so you can really start learning now!

The good:

Learning how to use this took very little time.

The bad:

What’s missing is a simple explanation of what some of these tenses are. Present tense, future tense, past tense? What about conditional simple tense, present progressive tense, and future progressive tense? And not all verbs can be searched. Kobi tried ‘polish’ and no results came up.
