Good for:

Getting streaming TV content

How it works:

I googled to learn that IPTV stands for Internet Protocol television, where TV content is delivered through the internet, compared to traditional methods like cable or satellite. This app contains a whopping 27 categories of TV channels, including animation (my favourite!), business, comedy, cooking, documentary and education. There are also movies, music, news and sports so you’ll have something for you whatever you like.

You can filter the content by category (described above), language or country.

Choosing a specific country will filter results based on content local to that area plus some general content. For instance, Bloomberg TV Asia in English came up among other local content when I selected Bangladesh.

Choosing a specific language will yield that content. I chose Bengali and Bengali language content appeared.

The good:

The comprehensive country list from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and languages respectively.

You can bookmark your favourite channels by going to Menu > Bookmarks.

Image quality was excellent for the Japanese animation and documentary I watched.

The bad:

Some channels don’t seem to be able to load.
