Fruit Slice and Dice

Minesweeper ‘95

Supposedly Minesweeper but too laggy to play

Good for:

Nothing much because it’s too laggy

How it works:

This game is supposedly just like the classic minesweeper puzzle game often seen on Windows computers. When you reveal a tile, it will show a number that tells you how many mines are in the surrounding tiles. From the numbers, you can try to guess where the mines are. You can insert a special marker if you think there is a mine in a tile. Your task is to reveal all the tiles without triggering the mines.

The good:

The visuals are representative of the classic Minesweeper and look good on the screen.

The bad:

When Kobi tried it, the game took 2 seconds to respond to each press of the keys. This meant it was almost unplayable because the game requires you to move your rectangle a lot. Kobi tried turning off the phone’s wifi (the game does not require data or wifi). That seemed to help at first, but once the next tile was revealed, the 2-second delay resumed.
