Sharing files with other KaiOS phones without using data or a wifi connection.
This app is recommended for sharing files between KaiOS phones only. When you open the app, select whether to share files with a KaiOS or Android phone.
If you are sharing with another KaiOS user, the other KaiOS phone needs to turn on their Bluetooth function for the file transfer to work.
If you are sharing with an Android user, the Android phone would need to download the Shareit app, open it, and select ‘Share with KaiOS’. Follow the instructions on the Android users screen, which include connecting your phone to the same Wi-Fi network and typing a link in the KaiOS Browser app. The link will enable files to be shared between the two phones.
This app is handy for KaiOS users to share multiple files via Bluetooth in one action.
If you aren’t sharing multiple files of large storage size, Kobi wouldn’t recommend using this app to share files with an Android phone. The app’s instructions can be confusing and the process requires internet access.
