Good for:

Sending messages to get help via text, at a press of a button.

How it works:

The settings option to your right lets you add a list of phone numbers and customise your SOS message. In an emergency, you press the SOS button in the middle, automatically sending the SOS message to the phone numbers in the app.

The good:

The app is straightforward to use. Key in phone numbers, edit the SOS message, and if you’re in trouble, open the app and press the biggest key on the keypad.

The bad:

Messages take around 10 seconds to send from the moment you press the button, which may not be very helpful in a situation where every second matters! Even though the app requires you to turn on geolocation, there is no location specified in the message being sent out, which means people may not be able to get help to you effectively if they don’t know where you are.
