Keep tabs on your water consumption
People who want to know how many glasses of water they should drink, going by their weight and age.
First, enter your age and weight (available in lb or kg, so that’s helpful) as well as the volume of your drinking cup (in ml or oz). Then, key in your waking and sleeping hours. The app then generates the amount you need to drink each day, with alarm notifications to drink up during your waking hours.
The set reminders to drink work.
For sleeping hours, I couldn’t key in anything later than 11:55pm for bedtime, which is annoying.
The rationale for the recommended amount isn’t clear. We know that health status, exercise, climate and diet play a part in the amount of water our body needs, but these are not factored in. This limits the usefulness of this app.
And if you can easily set your phone or other alarms to drink up during the day, you could give this a miss.
