Telling the time it without checking your phone
To hear the time, press the middle button. The clock speaks American English by default, but you can change it to speak French, German, British English, Spanish or Italian. The settings also allow you to switch between a 12-hour or 24-hour clock.
The clock will announce the time every hour even when the app is not open. You can also set a voice reminder for your bedtime!
It’s a straightforward app with a big face of a cartoon owl. Cute!
When the clock speaks, it doesn’t indicate that it is referring to the time, which led to my phone spooking me out when it said ‘eighteen’ at 6pm.
