Good for:

Keeping track of your caloric intake

How it works:

Search for specific food or drinks you have consumed.

Insert the portion of servings in grams, and the app will calculate how many calories it contains.

The good:

The app is pretty, simple to use, and very well optimised for KaiOS devices.

It’s very easy to add or remove the food or drinks added in due to the clean design.

The bad:

The app may not be most suited for those who want to count calories consistently, and should rather be used as a general guide.

The app does not include specific brands of foods or drinks, such as Coke or KFC. Instead, they are generalised under broader terms such as ‘Soda’ or ‘Fried chicken’.

This means the data may not be fully accurate for a person’s diet.

The app isn’t particularly designed for culturally-diverse food. I couldn’t find my favourite foods, such as curry, or fried noodles, which was quite a big letdown.
