Good for:

Watching videos, listening to music and learning skills

How it works:

Search for any topic or specific video title in the search bar, and select any video to watch.

You can also look through the ‘Popular’ section to see what others have been watching.

If you already have a YouTube account, you can sign in and continue watching from your favourite channels.

The good:

From the millions of videos available, from music to documentaries and even film, there is definitely a video for everyone!

Subscribing to certain channels and saving videos will help you follow content you like and be alerted when there are new videos from these channels.

The ‘Recommended’ and ‘Discover’ sections are fun ways to discover new and  interesting videos.

The bad:

There are occasional lags when loading or scrolling through videos.

The video progress bar and icons block the video when adjusting options.

When watching the video, sometimes we want to change the volume, or skip ahead, move back, or even change the quality of the video. On the KaiOS phone, when you try to change the volume, skip ahead, rewind, or even change the quality of the video, a video progress bar pops up with the options to do so. However, this bar will cover most of the video that’s playing, so you’ll miss that part of it. It would be nice if the video could pause automatically while options were being adjusted.
